Television

Today has been pretty much a day that has been outlined by television. This morning, I woke up and turned on the TV. I was surprised to see that it was an episode of Pokemon. Yes, I knew Pokemon was from Japan but all the same it was kind of a trip to actually see Pokemon while in Japan on my own TV in the morning. I was feeling a little nostalgic. Then, this evening I turned on the TV after a long day of watching movies on YouTube, and the first thing I see is a volleyball game (live, apparently) between Japan and Iran. Itʻs crazy because at home Iʻm used to seeing like, UH games pop up on TV but this is an international game between two countries being broadcasted on standard cable! Itʻs pretty exciting, naturally, Iʻm fully rooting for Japan. These may seem like small things at first, but itʻs little things like this that really affirm that Iʻm living in Japan, you know? Yes, itʻs for a short time but if youʻre on vacation you wouldnʻt have the time to experience these feelings. And although I may not know how theyʻll affect me later on, right now, TV is a highlight. (^_^)
